This is really just some 30 question music survey that a friend of my shared and was answering. I thought I'd give it a whirl here in a post. It's probably a pretty random collection of songs. Perhaps there are some you wouldn't think I would like or listen to. Perhaps you'll secretly make fun of me for some of my choices in music. That's OK. It wasn't meant to be series (and I didn't take a few questions seriously anyway, to be honest). Music is music. You like it, you listen to it, and personally I don't care if people want to judge me for my tastes in this area. I've got better things to do like actually listening to all of the music I like. Finding enjoyment through the chords or the lyrics. So, what are some songs that I might like? Well, let's take a look see, yeah? 01> A Song You Like With A Colour In The Title - Folsom Prison Blues by Johnny Cash 02> A Song You Like With A Number In The Title - Zuruck 1, 2 by [T.3.Я] 03> A Song That Reminds You of Summertime - Diamond Head by The Ventures 04> A Song That Reminds You of Someone You Would Rather Forget About - Black Rose Immortal by Opeth (specifically mark 17:25 - 20:00) 05> A Song That Needs To Be Played LOUD - Links 2 3 4 by Rammstein 06> A Song That Makes You Want To Dance - Dancing Machine by Jackson 5 07> A Song To Drive To - Machine Head by Bush 08> A Song About Drugs or Alcohol - I Got You by STP ("...when my mind begins to wander to the spoon.") 09> A Song That Makes You Happy - Fire by Arthur Brown & SAS Band (happy as in its an amusing song. I do like it, but it just puts a smile on my face and makes me giggle a little.) 10> A Song That Makes You Sad - Beware by Deftones (it's because it was what I was listening to right after my brother died.) 11> A Song That You Never Get Tired Of - Stripped by Depeche Mode 12> A Song From Your Preteen Years - Hey Sandy by Polaris 13> One Of Your Favourite 80s Songs - Rebel Yell by Billy Idol 14> A Song That You Would Love Played At Your Wedding - Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting by Elton John (it didn't specify which part of the wedding, besides if I ever got hitched, I doubt I'll be doing the whole walking down the isle church wedding). 15> A Song That Is A Cover By Another Artist - Green Onions by The Ventures (because it was originally preformed by Booker T. & The Washingtons). 16> One Of Your Favourite Classical Songs - Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns (I don't know classical music all that well, like what particular songs I like. But I do know the style. The heart-wrenchingly sad or dark ones, and rarely, if ever the upbeat, happier ones.) 17> A Song That (You) Would Sing A Duet With On Karaoke - Proud Mary by Ike & Tina Turner (I'd be Tina, of course! You might not believe it, but I can channel the still living Tina Turner like nobody's business! Voice and moves.) 18> A Song From The Year That You Were Born - Call Me by Blondie 19> A Song That Makes You Think About Life - I've Got A Thing About Seeing My Grandson Grow Old by Cat Stevens 20> A Song That Has Many Meanings To You - Caught A Lite Sneeze by Tori Amos 21> A Favourite Song With A Person's Name In The Title - Jolene by Dolly Parton 22> A Song That Moves You Forward - Unchained by Van Halen (Alright!) 23> A Song That You Think Everybody Should Listen To - Death in the Valley by The Death Riders (extra awesome? The nod to Vampira as the album cover.) 24> A Song By A Band You Wish Were Still Together - Peggy Sue Got Married by Buddy Holly & The Crickets 25> A Song By An Artist No Longer Living - Devil Got My Woman by Skip James 26> A Song That Makes You Want To Fall In Love - Mere Sapno Ki Rani by Kishore Kumar 27> A Song That Breaks Your Heart - Live It Out by Metric (it's because I was listening to it after my brother died... and I couldn't save him like the girl in the song could save her person.) 28> A Song By An Artist With A Voice That You Love - I Remember You by Skid Row (It's a sappy song that I'm not overly fond of, but listen to Sebastain Bachs' pipes towards the end from mark 4:09 - 4:44.) 29> A Song That You Remember From Your Childhood - Dancing Queen by ABBA 30> A Song That Reminds You Of Yourself - Use of Time by 311
