With Halloween tomorrow I thought I'd talk about Halloween costumes. I've been a lot of things over the years. But don't worry, I can't barely remember every single year, so this won't be an exceedingly long post... I hope.

On Saturday, The Sister and I attended the Fall Art Walk downtown. They said costumes were encouraged and well, we have nothing else to do between now and Halloween, and I enjoy dressing up, so we featured a couples costume. Saw some friends. Fun was had.
Let's read on, shall we? This is the third year in a row that I have participated in Drawlloween. To see the previous years (of which I skipped prompts and also added my own, click here.
I did draw ahead by three days and do not wish to illustrate a bride (I already did that this year), nor Frankenstein (I illustrated the monster last year and I have no interest in doing that again, or illustrating the actual Doctor Frankenstein. So, ta-da! Here are my twenty eight (I skipped Haunted Object as well) illustrations for this years Drawlloween. That's a street light as viewed tonight through this north facing window. Why is this important? Read on!
Honestly, I don't follow much politics. I don't have time for it. If something sparks my interest enough then I'll research it, but most of the things fall to wayside for me. I had absolutely no idea this Senator Warren/President Trump/Indigenous Heritage thing was even a thing until today.
I've been up to a lot of things, though I haven't really been up to much. So here's some interesting events since mid September in photos. Yes, lots of dark espresso coffee has been enjoyed and in my new Mississippi mug, but it's not really part of the events that will be being discussed.
So, I have to take a break from the spooky. I'm currently working on that last post, but I can seriously only work on it during the daytime, plus, there's time constraints. Let's talk about my Saturday, shall we? It was an interesting one, I tell ya.
These are the paranormal things that have happened in waking life that were the most traumatic for me. These are the things that are not easy to talk about or think upon. These are the things that still haunt me.
This is the last post in this series and the preceeding one is Senses. These are waking encounters with the three senses of audio, visual, and smell. The audio is generally with my own ears, but on few occasions in my minds eye I hear people. The smell is always through my nose and not just a feeling. The visual is generally through my minds eye, but not always.
The previous post in this series is The Portal House. Now, I'll hit the things that have happened in my waking life and have absolutely no association with sleep what-so-ever. I'm also only mentioning things that I encountered and not things that my mom said happened in my baby time, because I can't validate those with my own feelings. If I wasn't present, then I don't really count it.
The previous post in this series is Dreams Part 3. |
