Anytime I watch a British show I like to pick the language apart. See what they're saying and how they're saying it. Then I'll say it the way we do here in the deep south and laugh. Not at the British, but because of how we pronounce words. It's not at all like your generalized 'typical' American English accent.
So, I've compiled some words so this should be fun... or not. We'll see, shall we?

I was always afraid of spiders. I might be perhaps one very venomous one bit me when I was about four. The smaller they are, I was never too worried about them, but the larger or fuzzier and they would freak me out. Though I do remember learning in the third or fourth grade that spiders have book lungs and I was really fascinated by that.
So, anything larger thana 1/2 a cm was too big for me. But, I've been getting better with spiders, which I'm glad about. Well, I'm just a chatty Cathy today. I haven't written in so long and now three posts in one day. On a Friday night because that's how I roll. And I'm writing about another guy, but this is a completely different type of story though still very strange.
I've been watching Unsolved Mysteries recently. A lot of it. And I'm talking old school from 1987 with Robert Stack, not that new stuff with Dennis Farina. I like Farina, but not with this show. I watched this show from it's beginning until about 1996 and it's a big part of my childhood and it seems weird in any other format.
So, yes, Unsolved Mysteries. There's two things here I want to talk about. Two people. My Criminal Spirit Animals. You know how you'll watch some show and perhaps months later someone from that show is ending up stomping around in your nighttime dreams as your paramour?
Yeah.... Sometimes it's explainable. Like take Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester in Supernatural. He's a good looking guy. We'll randomly watch the show when the current season isn't on Netflix. It's no wonder he gets stuck up there somewhere in my subconscious waiting for the opportune time to wander around. I'm not necessarily attracted to him in my waking life (I actually prefer the character of Dean looks-wise), but he is easy on the eyes. I can't think of anyone else offhand at the moment, but in this weeks episode of Sarah's Dreamland there's a new paramour on the scene. Stay tuned after this short commercial to break to find out who! |
